Michael Machado, executive financial director of the FinFit Life program in Puerto Rico.

The multinational insurance company FinFit Life will establish itself in Puerto Rico to offer residents financial tools and products combined with physical well-being.

Michael Machado, executive financial director of the FinFit Life program in Puerto Rico, explained that the life insurance program focuses on financial health which helps customers improve their physical fitness as well as their financial health.

“We work in alliance with John Hancock to offer Vitality life insurance products that encourage their policyholders to lead healthy lives and reward them for exercise and maintaining their fitness,” Machado said.

“Through life insurance, policyholders will be able to access the “Financial Fitness” program which establishes physical activity goals and when they reach them, they become points that give access to rewards, discounts and even pay less for life insurance,” he said.

FinFit will host a seminar Nov. 19 at the Sheraton Hotel in Puerto Rico’s convention district to orient and educate — with a network of independent entrepreneurs — on the company’s products and other related topics such as strategies tax, protection against market losses, retirement planning and others. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“We believe FinFit Life will make a difference in the lives of many Puerto Ricans, and we look forward to providing an innovative pathway for customers looking to achieve financial and physical health,” Machado said.
