Distinguished Programs expands city insurance coverage

Distinguished Programs announced the extension of its municipal insurance program to select cities in California and Colorado. The program manager also announced new umbrella coverage eligibility for condos and rentals with underlying municipal insurance policies.

The city’s insurance program is now available for small urban properties in Sacramento, Bakersfield and Fresno, California, as well as Fort Collins and Colorado Springs, Colorado. The program was already available in Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Jose CA and Denver CA. Colorado. In total, Distinguished covers 23 cities across the United States.

The city’s insurance program is for apartment buildings, co-ops, multi-family properties, stone houses, and mixed-use properties up to 100 units in a single building or listed. Major coverages include equipment failure, sewer and drain backup, terrorism coverage, Ordinance or Law A, B, and C, and more.

Distinguished also announced the availability of umbrella coverage for condos and rental properties with underlying municipal insurance policies in select cities. Coverage is available through the Express Real Estate Umbrella program with limits up to $5 million. The program is suitable for small schedules (one to five locations) with lower limit requirements. Umbrella coverage is not available in Philadelphia.
